What is NoBI Bajío?

The Bajío Binational Innovation Node, NoBI Bajío, was formed with the support of the National Science and Technology Council (CONACYT) through the Parallel Call with the National Science Foundation (NSF) of the United States of America. In the modality of Conformation of Nodes and aims to accelerate the process of commercialization of technologies developed in different research centers and universities that comprise it, training teams and helping them to establish the best strategy to commercialize their technologies, as well as determine the level of Technology Readiness Level in which they are (TRL) and establish the necessary steps to reach the next level.

Work Team

NoBI Bajío is part of the Binational Innovation Nodes program of Conacyt and the NSF which seeks the following objectives: 1. The development of capacities in scientific and technological personnel in processes of validation of relevance of scientific and technological research in terms of solving market problems (industry, society, other HEIs, etc.) and 2. The creation of technology-based companies could occur as a consequence, hand in hand with formal processes of technology transfer and commercialization.
