What is NoBI Bajío?

The Bajío Binational Innovation Node, NoBI Bajío, was formed with the support of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) through a Parallel Call with the National Science Foundation (NSF) of the United States of America, The aim is to accelerate the process of commercialization of technologies developed in the different research centers and universities that comprise it; training work teams and helping them to establish the best strategy to market their technologies, as well as determine the technological maturity level (TRL) in which they are in to establish the necessary steps to reach the next level.

Who can participate?

Teams from the partner and associated institutions, as well as all those teams with projects developed in institutions that do not belong to any other NoBI and are within a radius of 200 kilometers from the city of Irapuato, Guanajuato, can participate.

Our Team

NoBI Bajío is part of the Binational Innovation Nodes program of Conacyt and the NSF, which seeks the following objectives: 1. The development of capacities of scientific and technological personnel in processes of validation of the relevance of scientific and technological research in solving market problems (industry, society, other HEIs, etc.) and 2. The creation of technology-based companies could occur as a consequence, hand in hand with formal processes of technology transfer and commercialization.
